These Messaging Terms describe the Draco Staff Development SMS program operated by Draco Inc. They supplement our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. To opt in, visit our SMS sign-up page.
Program description
Draco Staff Development provides a workforce compliance and communications platform used by healthcare facilities (skilled nursing and assisted living). Through the platform, a facility administrator may send operational, non-marketing text messages to that facility's own staff members. This is an account-based program for an employer's existing workforce — it is not a public marketing program and is not available for general consumer sign-up.
How staff opt in
Participation is voluntary and is not a condition of employment or of receiving any service. Staff opt in through their employer:
- A staff member provides their mobile number to their facility administrator and agrees to receive operational text messages from the facility.
- Consent is collected directly by the employer (verbally or in writing) as part of the facility's internal onboarding — there is no public or web-based sign-up form, and recipients are staff, not the general public.
- Staff who do not opt in continue to receive the same information through other channels (email, postings, in person) with no penalty.
What we send
Messages are operational notifications only, such as:
- Shift and schedule reminders
- Compliance and license-renewal notices (e.g., physical/TB test due dates)
- Training and in-service announcements
- Important facility and account updates
Example: "Draco Staff Development: Hi Maria, your TB test is due 06/15. Please see your administrator to schedule. Reply STOP to opt out."
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies depending on your facility's activity and your role. Message and data rates may apply. Draco Staff Development does not charge for the messages; standard rates from your wireless carrier may apply.
How to opt out or get help
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us; we will send a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To resubscribe, reply START.

Your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we will not share mobile opt-in information, phone numbers, or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
